Description
This auction features hand carved décor from Kenya, Haiti, Japan, Philippines, Fiji and many other countries. The collection is from the estate of a world traveler who collected exquisite and unusual hand carved figures of people and animals. Additionally, there is a bamboo beverage set from Japan, Ethiopian ceremonial jewelry, and a set of hand carved nesting tables with label from Hong Kong.
Auction Terms & Conditions TERMS & CONDITIONS: 1. Warranty Cotton & Associates Auctions, LLC ("the Auction Company") has made every reasonable effort to accurately describe all items offered for sale. All items are being sold "AS IS, WHERE IS" and without recourse, guarantees or warranties expressed or implied. We encourage bidders or their representative to inspect items of interest prior to bidding. All Internet bidders will be subject to registration and pre-approval. There is no guarantee of uninterrupted service, registration, or error free transmissions when using these services. Your bid certifies that you have read and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. 2. Order of Sale The catalog order is the sequence for the normal auction closing process however, a Soft Close is in effect for Online Auctions which means that lots receiving a bid during the closing process, will remain open for three minutes after the last bid on that specific lot. 3. Buyer's Responsibility At the end of the auction, as lots are sold, ownership along with all risks and responsibilities for the item passes to the winning bidder. He/she agrees to pay the full purchase price (including buyer's premium and if applicable, sales tax) within 24 hours of the end of the auction. Removal of purchased items will be during designated pickup times. Your winning bid constitutes a binding contract to pay for the items won by the high bidder. 4. Company Rights The Auction Company reserves the right to withdraw any item from the sale if that item has not yet received a bid or to withdraw any item before the auction. The Auction Company also reserves the right to reject any bid believed to be inappropriate. All items may be subject to a reserve as a published minimum bid. 5. Buyers Premium A buyer's premium of 15% will be added to the winning bid for each lot and is payable by the purchaser as part of the total purchase price. 6. Sales Tax All sales to Florida businesses/residents or items that are picked up locally are subject to 7.5% sales tax unless a valid and current Resale Tax Certificate issued in the name of the winning bidder (individual or company) is on file in our office prior to end of the auction. 7. Payment Winning bidders in Online Auctions will receive invoices via email showing the items won and amount owed within 12 hours of the end of the sale. The successful bidders shall provide payment information to the Company no later than 1pm on the day after the auction ends (850-968-5243 or cai3510@panhandle.rr.com). Payment may be made by wire transfer (call 850-968-5243 for routing and account information) or credit card (Master Card, Visa or Discover). Unless instructed otherwise by 1pm, the day after the auction ends, the credit card used for registration will be charged the full invoice amount. 8. Shipping No item will be released for pickup or shipment before payment is received and cleared. Shipping is the responsibility of the buyer and he/she may use any shipper of his/her choice. The Auction Company only provides a limited shipping services for small, non-fragile items that will fit into a USPS flat rate box. There is a nominal fee for this service and all items must be insured up to the price paid for the item. Flat rate packages automatically include insurance up to $50, Local packer/shippers (2BPostal; 850-380-5486 and The UPS Store; 850-478-7171) are available for shipping. The purchaser should make arrangements for shipping & payment for shipping, directly with the shipper. If a different shipper is used, coordination with the auction company is required. 9. Local pick up Local pick up is an option for winning bidders and pick up must be at a date/time scheduled. Please bring packing materials and help for loading heavy items as we are unable to provide them. Payment Terms
We accept cash, local check, credit card (Visa, Master Card, Discover) and wire transfer (call office at 850-968-5243 for wiring instructions). Sorry, we do not accept AMEX. Credit cards used to register will be charged for purchases beginning at 1 pm CDT the day following the auction unless we are notified to use an alternate form of payment before that time.
